NacaBattle is a website for VPet battles against other users in a seamless way, all within the web browser you are using right now. Also allows connecting AComs to other AComs, AComs to WiFiComs, WiFiComs to other WiFiComs.
This website is designed to work seamlessly without the need to send codes constantly to other users, only the code for matching against your opponent and, that's it! Also, this website will show what digimon you are battling against at all moments, which prevents cheating by knowing your opponent's Digimon at all times. Alpha Termial supports more devices that I currently don't have the ability to test out, and supports other connection modes such as jogress and copymon, which I haven't attempted to implement, as this website is more oriented to battles than anything else.
None. Just exchange the code against your opponent and that's it, you just started a battle. Same thing as to slow battles and interacting with NacaBattle.
In the case of NacaStorage, logging in through Discord is required as to track progress across NacaStorage and NacaDex. More logging options will be available in the future.
A slow battle is a way to battle an opponent without you both being online at the same time. I got this idea after Alpha Terminal. The difference is that here slow battles are done through URLs and also have the same identification system that the live battles provide, so you also get to know your opponent's digimon at all times.
Due to how Mozilla is considering the Web Serial API as unsafe (you can check more about this in here) I have added a disclaimer for Mozilla users and also disabled the ACom functionality in order to not generate confusion. If you are worried about the Web Serial protocol being a security issue and that it should not be used, as long as you do not attach (select the device in the popup where it asks you to select a serial device) a device that could handle sensitive information you should be safe. Also the server does check for invalid or malformed data before transfering the data to the client.
If you are using Firefox or any incompatible web browser with the Web Serial protocol, you can make use of NacaHelper. for more info click here.
In the case of live battles, the server and the client are connected through SocketIO. Actions done in the client are sent to the server, which processes the request and then communicates the result to both opponents paired. In slow battles, the client sends your DigiROM and device type to the server, which stores it for when the opponent comes.
For NacaStorage and NacaDex, the server uses your Discord ID to check who you are and stores that information to identify yourself.

In NacaBattle, information sent in live battles is not stored. In slow battles, the DigiROM and the device type is the only information stored. In the case the user wants to make use of NacaStorage and NacaDex, your Discord ID (public ID) and your Discord username will be logged and stored. The Digimon number and device type you upload will also be logged in order to be added to NacaStorage and NacaDex. In the case of the user wanting to get their information removed, contact me on Discord and I will remove your information from the database.
Personal identifiable information such as IP addresses, emails or passwords are kept away from the application at any moment.
